ABOUT ALIYAH
Aliyah Good was born in Nashville, TN, raised on the road and on the stage. She started singing at 3 years of age performing with her parents at fairs and festivals across the US. Her big voice has been described as “a force of nature” by BMG industry veteran Bobby Rymer. Now 21 years old, Aliyah has been writing her own music for 7 years, both alone and with established Nashville songwriters. Her music infuses sounds of country-pop, alternative and indie. “When I started writing and performing my own songs,” says Aliyah, “it just felt so natural. Sharing my feelings and laying it all out there. There’s just something so satisfying about making that connection with other people and saying yeah, we’re not alone in all of this and life can be hard”. Good was invited to join the esteemed Song Suffragettes at the Listening Room by the age of 14 and also plays shows and rounds regularly in Nashville at Ole Red, Tin Roof, True Music Room, Chief’s, The Listening Room, and more. Good has also played Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, Breaking Sound Miami, Writers Block LA, Sofar Sounds Atlanta, and the Bitter End in NYC. She has also played at notable festivals including Pensacola Songwriters Festival, Roscolusa Songwriters Festival, and Nashville Nights Songwriters Festival in Odense, Denmark. The music video for Aliyah’s solo-penned debut release “Ending of a First Love” premiered on CMT. Look for Aliyah’s new single ‘Attention Sucker’ out everywhere 12/6.
